This home belongs to an elderly woman who lives alone. Last winter a fire destroyed her chimney and damaged her walls inside and out. Water from putting out the fire damaged her ceilings in the living room and kitchen. She also needs a small back porch as she cannot exit the kitchen because the step down is too long. The kitchen ceiling and walls need painted and the siding on this home also needs to be replaced.
Project P-2 (This Project has been adopted)
A young couple with their two young sons, a toddler and an infant, live in this 1971 model trailer. It is 14 x 68 feet long. They desire most of all to have new windows put in. The windows are in ill repair. On the day of our visit, the windows were covered with plastic and 2 or 3 layers of quilts on top of that. The flooring is bad with numerous areas of rot underneath the carpet. The ceiling also leaks. Mold is also a problem now. This trailer simply needs to be replaced if at all possible.

Elderly woman who lives with her daughter and grandaughter. Several doors need replacing and fixed around to help with heating and cooling.
Project P-8
This couple needs the ceilings and walls drywalled and painted in two rooms. They could also use new linoleum or carpeting.
Project P-9
This family of 5 needs the flooring repaired in the living room and the kitchen. They also would like to have a roof put on their small front deck to keep water from coming in around the door.
Project P-5 (This project has been adopted)
This family needs the roof to be replaced. It is leaking and when it is raining, they cannot go into the kitchen due to electrical shocks where the rain runs into the electrical box. This would require someone with extensive electrical training/background. Also, the ceiling is now starting to fall in. Some interior work would be required.
Project P-4
An elderly lady who desires to have her tin roof repaired or replaced. The roof is leaking on the back part of the house. Also, she needs some interior painting. She could use a front porch and she needs the back entry porch repaired/replaced. She would be happy with any or all help, but would like most to have the roof fixed.
Project P-6
This family includes the mom, dad, and an adult disabled daughter. They need to have the siding replaced. It would require some extensive work on the floor joists as well. Also, the tin roof needs replacing. They would appreciate any help possible.
Project P-7 (This project has been adopted)
This lady lives alone with her dog in a rotting trailer. The entire base of the trailer has rusted in two. Numerous holes in the floor. Numerous open holes around the door facings due to a leaking roof. She has slept on the sofa all winter long to be near the wood/coal stove she uses for heat. There are places throughout where you can see the ground through the floor of the trailer.
